R410A is an HFC blend used in air conditioning and heat pump equipment built for its operating characteristics. Select it for servicing a system that identifies R410A on its data plate. It is a different refrigerant from R22, R32 and R454B, and should not be selected as a substitute based only on cooling capacity or equipment age.
